Aside from make up, I really like nail polish. I have tried many different top coats and base coats all ranging from different prices. I finally found my favorite combination! My favorite base coat is CND Stickey Anchoring Base Coat. This base coat does have a slight green tint when applied so that could be both a pro and a con. I personally like that there is a light green tint because I can easily see if I missed a spot. I also don't mind the tint because most of my nail polishes are opaque to begin with so the light green tint does not interfere with whatever color I have on. I think this base coat does an awesome job at preventing my nails from getting stained. My favorite top coat, hands down is Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. This by far is the most shiniest and thickest top coat I have ever used, and it dries fairly quickly which is a super plus for me. These two products are kind of expensive compared to other products out there but I definitely think they are worth it and I would definitely recommend them.
